Developing ICT-Based Learning Media Using Powtoon for Teaching Descriptive Text

The purpose of this study was to construct a PowToon animation video as an English teacher and learning medium for seventh-grade students in junior high school, specifically teach writing descriptive text that is more engaging. researcher used Design Development method develop the product. ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) selected design development paradigm. SMP Negeri 2 Sawan were focus study. For data collection, conducted interviews, syllabus analysis, questionnaire distribution, expert judgment rubric. Regarding material, had animal, person, thing. classified good media based on judgments rubric material components. In addition, it increased students' enthusiasm interest English, particularly improving their skills.
